The artwork featured on this page are originals or prints of originals. You are purchasing the "original piece" unless otherwise stated.. Each is signed by the artist, double matted and ready to frame. All are painted on 100% cotton Aquerello water color paper (acid free), using artists acrylic as the medium of choice.

Greyhounds are the featured dog, other beautiful breeds are offered as well. Each dog has something special that needs to be painted, weather pure bred or mix breed, each face has something marvelous to say! If we only listen!

It is said, "The eyes are the windows to the soul" this is never more true than in the eyes of a dog.  I paint the eyes first on each piece. I feel that if the eyes have "no life" the painting will have "no soul"  Hopefully, I have captured some of that "life"........

Eyes on the Prize is the title of this original design "hidden image" piece. Inspired by our gun dog friends this beautiful German Shorthair Pointer is a wonderful example of the noble hunting breeds.

The technique used to create theses works is called: Parchment embossing, and dates back to the 15th. century, where Spanish cloisters used this technique to decorate holy tracts and bookbinding. This art form is mostly used in creating beautiful writing papers, cards and is still used to decorate holy papers in some South American countries.
