Costs can be charged, folded and stored in a zip lock plastic bag, then placed in your freezer for future use in hot weather or medical emergency. Large intakes of water for a dog or horse who has high body temperatures do to excessive body heat can be dangerous, and can cause other problems. This product allows you to lower the body core temperature without creating further complications. And, do it gradually allowing the body to adjust normally, without the shock of cold water or ice packs. Small amounts of water can be offered to the dog or horse to re-hydrate, without the concern of large water intake. Dogs needing transport to the Vet's office can be accomplished while continuing to lower the body core temp.
