A very special and personal gift for you or a friend. The Teddy Bears are lovingly made from coats, blanket or favorite throw, worn or used by a beloved companion. Each Teddy Bear comes to you with a very special poem, that enhances the meaning of the irreplaceable fabric the bear is designed from!

The Teddy Bear below was crafted from the coat once worn by my beloved Petie, who was lost to a stroke. I couldn't give her coat away, or throw it away, so it sat in my closet wrapped in plastic. It now sits in the rocking chair, she always laid under, where I can sneak a Hug every once in a while!

***As an Example***

The Teddy Bears measure approx. 15" from the top of the head to the rump in a sitting position. I used antique silver buttons (my Grandmother's) for the eyes. The nose is hand stitched...I used a reddish/brown, (Petie was a red Dobie and had a red/brown nose). The poem is hand printed on fabric and "in this case" is stitched to the front of the Teddy Bear......

***Before ordering your special Teddy, please read the following information.***

Teddy Bear Fabric Requirements:

The bears will only be made in "ONE" size. The fabric required to make a bear entirely from your coat, blanket or throw is minimal. However, each coat maker is different, and the fabric piece may not be large enough to complete the bear from your fabric. (especially for the smaller breed dogs). Should additional fabric be needed, I will make every effort to use a solid color or print that "compliments" your special fabric.  (NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE).

NOTE: Please launder (if needed) coats, blankets or throws before shipping. I will not take responsibility for laundering any fabrics.

Eyes:

Should you want special buttons for your eyes, they must be shipped with the fabric. (Personally, I think old buttons look best), so check out your sewing boxes. If you do not have a preference, dark colored buttons will be used for the eyes. Buttons are sewn on to the bear, not glued.

Please include the following:

1. Full name and mailing address.

2. fabric & buttons for the eyes (if desired) (shipping fabric to my address is at the buyers expense)

3. name and gender of your special pup.

Each Teddy Bear is individually crafted, so please allow 2-3 weeks for completion & return. Every effort will be made to complete you bear and return it to your loving arms in the shortest time possible.

shipping via: USPS Priority Mail  with delivery conformation. **INSURANCE is optional (at buyers expense) this applies to the continental US only. Foreign buyers: return shipping will be USPS Global Priority, US postal size regulations permitting.
